The 2026 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will take place from September 5 to 27 in Poland. Nigeria is set for a powerful start. Christopher Danjuma's Falconets will kick off their campaign against Spain, the reigning world champions from 2022.

Impressive consistency

After being eliminated from the senior Women's World Cup race, Nigeria is hungry for success in the U20 category. And the Falconets know the way. This will be their 12th consecutive appearance since 2002—a record for any African nation. The Nigerian women are well-versed in going the distance, having reached two finals in 2010 and 2014.
