Real Madrid can breathe a sigh of relief regarding the physical condition of Kylian Mbappé. After suffering a knee injury in recent weeks, the French striker has been sorely missed by Los Blancos, who are already dealing with several absences ahead of their European showdown against Manchester City.

Speaking at a press conference, Álvaro Arbeloa offered reassuring words about the situation’s progression.

"Mbappé? He’s doing much better. As I said, we’re monitoring his progress day by day, and this week has been very positive. He’s come back with much better sensations, he’s feeling better every day, so we expect his return very soon."

For now, however, the Frenchman continues with an individualized program. Back in Madrid after a trip to Paris to check on his injury, he did not take part in team training on Tuesday morning and continued his work in the gym.
