UEFA CL: Guirassy, top African scorer in a single edition!

Despite their qualification for the Champions League semi-finals, FC Barcelona was shaken on Tuesday by a spirited Borussia Dortmund, led by a sensational Serhou Guirassy.

With a commanding 4-0 victory in the first leg, Barça seemed ideally positioned ahead of the quarter-final return leg at Signal Iduna Park. However, Hansi Flick's men struggled in Germany, falling 3-1 to a determined Yellow and Black side eager to overturn the deficit.

Leading the attack for BvB, Serhou Guirassy, the star striker of Guinea's Syli National, delivered a masterful hat-trick (11', 49', 76'), challenging the Catalan defense and shaking an entire club.

With 13 goals in 14 matches, the native of Conakry becomes the top African scorer in a single C1 edition, surpassing the legendary achievements of figures like Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba, and the indomitable Mohamed Salah.
