UFOA B U20: Where to watch the final between Nigeria and Burkina Faso?

This is the match everyone’s been waiting for. Undefeated since the start of the tournament, Burkina Faso will meet Nigeria this Sunday at 6pm GMT in the final of the UFOA B U20 tournament. At stake at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro: a direct ticket to the next U20 AFCON in Ghana. The match will be broadcast live on the CAF West B Zone’s YouTube channel.

Burkina Faso looking to confirm their consistency

Oscar Barro’s squad is marching on unbeaten. They kicked off their campaign with a 3-1 win over Togo, followed by a 1-1 draw against Ghana, before defeating Nigeria 2-0 in the group stage. In the semi-finals, the Stallions got the better of Niger, 2-0, to book their place in the final. Solid at the back and clinical up front, they’re aiming to clinch the title and punch their ticket to the AFCON.

Nigeria back at the top level

Despite a 0-2 setback against Burkina Faso in the group stage, the Flying Eagles have shown their strength. They opened their campaign with a 4-2 win over Ghana and a 3-0 triumph against Togo.

In the semi-finals, the clash with Côte d’Ivoire was a real thriller. 2-2 after extra time, and Nigeria came through 4-3 on penalties. With this qualification, the reigning champions confirm their dominance in the region and now aim to defend their crown.

Kick-off is this Sunday at 6pm GMT at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium in Yamoussoukro. Catch it live on the CAF West B Zone’s YouTube channel.
