UFOA B Women's Champions League qualifiers: Group B enters the fray this Monday

The UFOA B tournament qualifying for the CAF Women's Champions League continues this Monday, August 24. After USFA's emphatic 3-0 victory over Dynamique FC in the opener, it's time for Group B to take center stage.

Nicknamed the group of death, it brings together some real heavyweights. This group features defending champions ASEC Mimosas, Ghana's Ampem Darkoa Ladies—winners in 2023, Edo Queens from Nigeria—2024 champions, and AS Garde Nationale from Niger.

Two top-tier matchups

At 3:00 PM GMT, ASEC Mimosas begin their title defense. The Ivorian side immediately faces Ampem Darkoa Ladies. Both teams are known for their attacking play and ball possession. Expect fireworks at the Stade du 04 Août in Ouagadougou.

At 6:00 PM GMT, Edo Queens kick off their campaign. The Nigerian side, crowned champions in 2024, enter as favorites against AS Garde Nationale from Niger. But beware of an upset—each edition sees the Niger team gain more experience, and they're capable of springing a surprise.

Where to watch the matches?

Both games will be broadcast live on the CAF West Zone B YouTube page. With such a stacked Group B, the qualifiers promise intense battles right from day one.
