Victor Osimhen moved by Galatasaray fans' tribute

Victor Osimhen experienced an emotional night during the first leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 between Galatasaray and Liverpool in Istanbul.

Before kick-off, Turkish supporters paid tribute to Victor Osimhen and his late mother with a tifo bearing the message: "We are family, and family is everything." The Nigerian striker was deeply moved and could not hold back his tears.

On the pitch, Osimhen made a decisive impact by providing the assist for Mario Lemina, who scored the winning goal (1-0) for Galatasaray. After the match, the forward shared his emotions:

When I came out of the tunnel and saw the choreography, I was overwhelmed. This club and these fans mean so much to me. That's why I fight for every ball until the last drop of blood. My path was meant to cross with Galatasaray. It's destiny.

The night ended on a high as Osimhen and his daughter celebrated the fans' tribute, both wearing the striker's iconic mask.
