Women's Champions League Qualifiers: Edo Queens and Ampem Darkoa Ladies Advance to the UFOA B Tournament Final

The final of the CAF Women’s Champions League’s UFOA B zone will pit Edo Queens against Ampem Darkoa Ladies. The match will take place on September 5 at the 04-Août Stadium in Ouagadougou at 7:00 p.m. GMT.

Edo Queens secured their spot with a 5-1 rout of host team USFA on September 2 at the Stade du 04-Août.

Meanwhile, Ampem Darkoa Ladies advanced with a 4-1 victory over Dynamique FC of Benin at the same venue.

A Spot in the CAF Final Round

This final pits two former champions of the region against each other. Edo Queens won the competition in 2024, while Ampem Darkoa Ladies were crowned champions in 2023. The stakes are high. Only the winner of this UFOA B final will secure a spot in the 2026–2027 Women’s Champions League finals. The two teams know each other well. On Matchday 3 of Group B, the Ghanaian team Darkoa defeated the Nigerians 2–1.

The Third-Place Match Between USFA and Dynamique FC

Before the final, the 04-Août Stadium will host the third-place match. It will pit USFA against Dynamique FC of Benin on September 5 at 3:00 p.m. GMT. The two teams that lost in the semifinals will compete for third place in the regional competition.
