Women's friendly: Egypt and Tunisia draw once again

The deadlock remains unbroken between the Pharaohs and the Carthage Eagles. After another thrilling clash, Egypt and Tunisia's women's teams battled to yet another draw.

The second friendly between Egypt and Tunisia ended 2-2 this Monday in Cairo. After a 1-1 stalemate in the first leg, neither side managed to pull ahead this time either. This encounter once more highlighted the parity in this North African rivalry.

At this stage, both teams have different objectives. The Pharaohs are gearing up for the final phase of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, kicking off July 25 in Morocco. Meanwhile, after missing out on qualification, the Carthage Eagles have already set their sights on the second round of qualifiers for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
