World Cup 2026: FIFA cashes in with a hefty check

This 2026 World Cup brought in far more revenue for FIFA than expected.

While the governing body initially anticipated $11 billion in revenue, the final figures are set to reach nearly $15 billion. This spectacular surge is mainly attributed to skyrocketing ticket prices, according to exclusive information from The Guardian. Over 500 million ticket requests were submitted, despite prices that many fans considered sky-high.
