For the first time in World Cup history, FIFA will award championship rings to the tournament victors in 2026. Borrowing from North American sporting tradition, the rings will be given alongside the trophy and gold medals following the July 19 final between Spain and Argentina at New York New Jersey Stadium.

FIFA plans to produce just 2,026 individually numbered rings, marking the year of the competition. Thirty of those will go to the winning squad and staff, while the remaining 1,996 will be sold globally as licensed memorabilia.

Each ring will bear the World Cup trophy on one face, with the opposite side tailored to the champions' identity. Every piece will be individually sized, numbered, and come with a certificate verifying its authenticity.
