World Cup 2026 (Q): DR Congo squad announced without Wissa for the final two matchdays

The DR Congo will take on Togo on October 10 at the Kégué Stadium in Lomé before hosting Sudan on October 14 at the Martyrs Stadium in Kinshasa. On Friday, September 26, 2025, Sébastien Desabre revealed his 25-man squad, notably without Yoane Wissa, who misses out due to injury.

DR Congo is preparing for its last two matches in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. Sébastien Desabre has selected a group of 25 players who must secure their ticket to the World Cup. The Leopards currently sit second in Group B with 16 points, trailing leaders Senegal, who have 18.
