The coach Juan Micha revealed Equatorial Guinea's squad list this Sunday for the 5th and 6th qualifying rounds of the 2026 World Cup. This list includes Emilio Nsue, the superstar making his grand return to the Nzalang National.

We now know the players who will form the Equatorial Guinea squad for the upcoming two rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. Coach Juan Micha announced his list this Sunday. The 49-year-old technician has called up a total of 25 players. As usual, he has relied on his key players, namely Iban Salvador, Carlos Martinez, and Josette Miranda.

Emilio Nsue returns to the Nzalang National

The big surprise on Juan Micha's list is the inclusion of Emilio Nsue. The 35-year-old forward has once again earned the trust of his coach. The Equatorial Guinean striker, who had been sanctioned by FIFA for illegally representing Equatorial Guinea, recently won his appeal. He has been cleared to rejoin the Nzalang National, and Juan Micha did not hesitate to count on him for the upcoming challenges.

As a reminder, Equatorial Guinea will face Sao Tome and Principe and Namibia on March 21 and 24 respectively, for the 5th and 6th rounds of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in group H. The Nzalang National is currently positioned 5th in the group with only 3 points on the board.
