No winner in the duel counting for the sixth day of the Group H of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers. Namibia and Equatorial Guinea ended in a draw (1-1) after a balanced duel, this Monday in Johannesburg. A result that benefits the Eagles of Tunisia, leaders of the group.
Both teams approached this match with confidence. Namibia had just secured a 1-0 victory over Malawi, while Equatorial Guinea had won 2-0 against Sao Tome and Principe.
The Brave Warriors aimed to win to stay in the race for qualification, keeping an eye on Tunisia, the leader of Group H.
The first half was marked by mutual caution. The Namibians, although more enterprising, lacked precision in the final move.
For their part, the Equatoguineans failed to seriously threaten the opposing defense.

The second half picked up pace right from the restart. In the 52nd minute, the inevitable Peter Shalulile opened the scoring for Namibia with a well-taken shot after a well-executed free-kick by Deon Hotto.
However, three minutes later, Equatorial Guinea responded through Saรบl Coco, who capitalized on a decisive pass from Esteban Orozco.
Despite a few chances at the end of the match, neither team managed to take the lead. Namibia retains its 2nd place with 12 points, while Equatorial Guinea remains 4th with 7 points.
