Young Africans SC: Is Stéphane Aziz Ki on his way out?

Stéphane Aziz Ki might be living his last months in the colors of Young Africans SC. Initially set on honoring his contract running until 2026, the Burkinabe midfielder has reportedly had a change of heart.

According to Pan-African Football, the 29-year-old player recently informed the Tanzanian management of his desire to leave the club at the end of the season. He is keen to join Wydad AC. Discussions are reportedly underway between his representatives and the Moroccan officials. The stated goal: to allow the Burkinabe playmaker to compete in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Since joining Young Africans SC in 2022 from Asec Mimosas, Aziz Ki has been instrumental in securing two Tanzanian championship titles for the club. Brilliant this season in the CAF Champions League with five goals in nine matches, he has also caught the attention of Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Orlando Pirates.
