Zidane’s cryptic message sparks frenzy over comeback

After nearly four year on the sidelines, Zinedine Zidane has dropped major hint about his long-awaited return to football management and it’s set to happen "very soon".

The French icon who has been without club since leaving Real Madrid at the end of the 2020 /21 season, spoke briefly about his future in comments reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

When asked whether he plans to take charge of new team, Zidane smiled and replied simply:

"It will happen soon. Very soon"

Though he gave no further details, those few words were enough to send football fans especially Los Blancos supporters , into frenzy of anticipation.

Nearly four year away from the dugout

Since parting ways with Madrid in 2021, Zidane has been linked with numerous high-profile posts including the French national team, Manchester United, Paris Saint Germain and even potential third spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.
