German coach Michael Nees, the head coach of Zimbabwe, unveiled on Tuesday the list of players selected for the Warriors’ upcoming matches against South Africa and Lesotho, as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Although Zimbabwe failed to qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals, finishing last in Group C with just 4 points, the German tactician sees these two fixtures as an excellent opportunity to prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Here is the full list of players called up by the Zimbabwe coach:

• Goalkeepers:
  Washington Arubi, Elvis Chipezeze, Martin Mapisa.
  
• Defenders:
  Gerald Takwara, Munashe Garan’anga, Teenage Hadebe, Brendan Galloway, Emmanuel Jalai, Godknows Murwira, Jordan Zemura, Divine Lunga.
  
• Midfielders:
