11 Teams Secure Their Place in the Carabao Cup Round of 16

Eleven teams have secured their places in the Round of 16 of the English League Cup for the 2026/27 season, with five spots still available to be decided in the remaining Round of 32 fixtures.

Liverpool advanced in style with a 3-1 victory over Tottenham, while Arsenal booked their place in the next round after beating Ipswich Town 4-2.

Chelsea also progressed following an entertaining 6-3 win over Leeds United, while Fulham eliminated West Ham United with a 3-2 victory. Sunderland also secured their place in the next round after edging past Hull City 1-0.

The remaining Round of 32 fixtures will be played tonight and tomorrow, with the final five Round of 16 places still up for grabs.

The Round of 16 draw will be held on Wednesday evening after Manchester United’s match against Brighton, while the Round of 32 will conclude on Thursday with Manchester City taking on Norwich City.

The Round of 16 fixtures are scheduled to be played during the week commencing October 26, 2026.
