The 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony is now just a few days away. In recent hours, former AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona player Zlatan Ibrahimovic revealed his favorite. The former Swedish international striker believes that Lamine Yamal (19 years old, 8 appearances and 8 goals in all competitions this season) deserves to win the prestigious individual award.

"The Ballon d'Or should be awarded to the player who genuinely makes the biggest individual difference. For me, Lamine Yamal has done that and he is the one who deserves it," the Swede said, in comments notably reported by Sportskeeda.
