2026 Women's AFCON: groups and full competition schedule

Groups, dates, times, and venues: here's the complete program for the 2026 Women's Africa Cup of Nations, set for July 26 to August 16.

The 14th edition of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations will take place from July 26 to August 16, 2026, in Morocco. For the first time ever, the competition will feature 16 teams, split into four groups of four, with matches played in Rabat and Casablanca.

Beyond the quest for continental glory, the participants will also be fighting for qualification to the 2027 Women's World Cup. The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, while a prize of one million dollars awaits the future champions of Africa.

Algeria will kick off the tournament against Senegal, before taking on Morocco and then Kenya. Meanwhile, Nigeria, the defending champions, find themselves in a tough Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt, and Malawi.
