DR Congo has secured its ticket for the 2026 World Cup, with the final phase set to take place in North America from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

In the intercontinental playoff final, the Leopards edged past Jamaica by the narrowest of margins, thanks to a goal from Burnley FC defender Axel Tuanzebe in the 101st minute.
