Armed with drums, trumpets, horns, and other loud instruments, they reportedly made a ruckus for several hours. Several Ecuadorian players were said to have been woken up, unable to enjoy a proper night's rest before this crucial encounter.

In response, the Ecuadorian federation reportedly filed an official complaint, demanding that action be taken following the incident.
