Already having secured qualification for the 2026 World Cup after their emphatic 3-0 victory over Somalia in Oran, the Algerian national team will approach this final round of qualifiers against Uganda with a completely reshuffled starting eleven. Head coach Vladimir Petković has opted to rotate his squad, giving new faces a chance and offering more minutes to the substitutes ahead of announcing the final squad for AFCON 2025.
