Just days before the kickoff of the 2026 World Cup, Ivory Coast captain Franck Kessié has shown both confidence and determination. The Elephants' midfielder believes his team is ready to face the challenges ahead and aims for an ambitious run in the tournament.

Speaking to the media ahead of the warm-up match against France, Kessié emphasized the significance of facing a nation he considers one of world football's benchmarks.

"It's a very strong team, it's going to be a great match. It's the kind of game every player dreams of," the Ivorian captain stated.
