410th career goal… Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Gabonese goal machine
Age is just a number for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who simply can’t stop doing what he loves most: rattling the back of the net. At 37, he has just scored his 410th career goal on his return to La Liga, four years after his stint at FC Barcelona.
A perfectly launched adventure
The Gabonese striker opened his scoring account for the season with Deportivo La Coruña, where he signed this summer until June 2028. He earned his team a crucial point against Elche on Monday night (1-1), marking his return to La Liga after eight years away. That performance earned him the honorary title of man of the match.
This goal is the 410th for the Panther across 816 matches played. He has also provided 121 assists for the various clubs he’s represented.

Dortmund, the highlight of his career
Aubameyang was most prolific during his time with Borussia Dortmund, netting 141 goals in 213 matches between 2013 and 2018. He moved to Germany after spells in France with Monaco (2 goals), Lille (2 goals), Dijon (10 goals), and AS Saint-Etienne (41 goals).
Never given a real chance with AC Milan’s senior team, the Laval native also scored 92 goals in 163 matches for Arsenal, 3 for Chelsea (21 appearances), and 13 for FC Barcelona (24 matches).

A true goal-scoring machine
In recent seasons, he also shined in Saudi Arabia, scoring 21 goals in 36 matches with Al-Qadsiah FC. He rediscovered his form at Olympique de Marseille, making a big impact with 44 goals in 92 appearances. Let’s not forget his 40 goals in 83 caps for Gabon.
Crowned African Footballer of the Year in 2015, he was also named Europa League and Bundesliga Player of the Season, and he clinched the Golden Boot in both England and Germany.
