Mohamed Salah made his highly anticipated competitive debut for Trabzonspor on Saturday evening drawing widespread acclaim across Turkish media despite his side being held to a 1-1 draw by Kasimpasa in their Super Lig opener.

Prominent Turkish daily Sabah noted the electric atmosphere surrounding the Egyptian international reporting that Salah "dazzled everyone in his first match" and created an immediate buzz among the travelling Black Sea supporters.

Meanwhile, Star emphasized that Salah’s arrival on the pitch restored much needed momentum to Trabzonspor’s attack. Sports daily Fanatik highlighted two decisive moments of quality, a far post effort from a Mustafa Eskihellac cross that flew narrowly wide and a pinpoint delivery from the right wing into the path of striker Paul Onuachu.

Writing for Hürriyet, prominent columnist Mehmet Ayan described Salah's 58th minute substitution as a landmark moment for the match:

"After Kasimpasa's equalizer, Trabzonspor made their historic move, Mohamed Salah added immense excitement to the match. A tactical breakdown by Fanatik further outlined how Salah adapted his positioning during the cameo starting wide on the right before drifting inside as a central playmaker.

The report highlighted that his presence visibly increased Trabzonspor’s speed in transition and open play calling the performance a very promising sign for the club's title ambitions despite the dropped points.
