Aged 31, the Denmark international boasts extensive experience in European football. His profile could appeal to AC Milan, who are reportedly exploring several possibilities to strengthen their midfield ahead of their upcoming commitments.

Højbjerg also offers a financial advantage. His market value is estimated at between €10 million and €15 million.

No concrete negotiations announced
