AC Milan: Samuel Chukwueze decisive again with another assist against Juventus
Samuel Chukwueze continues to make his case at AC Milan. Introduced in the 61st minute at Juventus’ stadium, the Nigerian winger provided an assist seven minutes later for Milan’s opener, which was eventually cancelled out by a late equaliser from the Turin side.
With the score still 0-0, Ruben Amorim brought Chukwueze into the game. The Nigerian immediately added pace and attacking threat down the flank and played a key role in Milan’s opening goal.
In the 68th minute, Chukwueze delivered a precise cross into the box for Alphadjo Cissé. The young Milan forward made the most of the opportunity, beating the Juventus goalkeeper to put the Rossoneri ahead.
It was another highly effective substitute appearance from Chukwueze, once again highlighting his ability to make an immediate impact when called upon by his coach.
Another attacking contribution
The assist rewarded the Nigerian’s lively performance, as he made an immediate impact despite his limited time on the pitch. The match statistics credited him with an assist as well as several chances created.
AC Milan appeared to be on course for an important victory in Turin, but Federico Gatti equalised in stoppage time to earn Juventus a point.
Milan therefore leave the Allianz Stadium with a 1-1 draw, but Samuel Chukwueze can once again take confidence from another decisive performance under Ruben Amorim.
