Mali are set to begin their qualification campaign for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations against a major opponent. On the opening matchday of Group K, the Eagles host the Blue Sharks in Bamako.

“They are a team that drew with the world champions, Spain, and took Argentina to extra time.” Anthony Da Silva is not underestimating Cape Verde ahead of Friday’s clash at the Stade du 26 Mars.
