After Tonali, De Zerbi wants to make another big splash with Marmoush or Savinho
Italian Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi has hinted that his club is on the verge of securing another attacking signing. Despite an already ambitious transfer window, the Spurs are far from finished with their summer recruitment.
De Zerbi keeps pushing, Tottenham targets Marmoush and Savinho
According to Football London, Tottenham are exploring several options to bolster their attacking line. Among the main targets is Brazilian winger Savinho, who is currently under contract with Manchester City.
Egyptian international Omar Marmoush is also highly regarded by Roberto De Zerbi. The Italian coach considers him one of the most interesting profiles to strengthen the Spurs' attack.
In remarks reported by the English media, De Zerbi stated:
"The transfer window isn't over yet and we still have a lot of work to do. We're close to finalizing a major signing, but negotiations aren't fully wrapped up yet."
As a reminder, Tottenham have already invested over £237 million during this summer transfer window. The London club notably signed Sandro Tonali for £100 million and Matheus Fernandes for £85 million, and they continue to pursue a top-class attacking reinforcement.
