Breaking news: USM Alger has been hit with a transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

USM Alger is now under FIFA's scrutiny. The Algiers-based club has officially joined the roster of teams facing a transfer ban, a sanction that will currently prevent them from registering new players during the next three transfer windows.

According to the "FIFA Registration Bans" platform, this decision follows a dispute brought before the world football governing body. USMA thus becomes the ninth Algerian club to be hit with such a sanction, alongside notable teams like ESS, CSC, CRB, JSK, and JSS.

However, the situation is not irreversible. As FIFA reminds, these bans are generally linked to financial or contractual disputes and can be lifted as soon as clubs settle their obligations and comply with the requirements set by the international governing body.
