Algeria is close to appointing a new coach!

The Algerian Football Federation, as indicated by press reports, has begun negotiations with a new coach and will not keep Petrovic at the head of the technical staff. Among the names that have been chosen is the Malian Eric Cheli, a coach who has extensive experience in Africa and in coaching African national teams.

According to Santi Aouna, the recent shake-up in the coaching setup has prompted the federation's leadership to zero in on Chelle as their primary target to steer the team forward.

Talks are now underway between the two sides, with negotiations centering on the framework of a possible partnership as they work toward aligning on key details.
