Argentina: Emiliano Martinez sets a condition for retirement

Emiliano Martinez could end his international career after the 2026 World Cup this summer.

The Argentine goalkeeper recently stated that winning another world title with the Albiceleste would mark the end of his journey with the national team. "If I become a two-time World Cup champion with Argentina, I'll retire. I'm saying it today. I'll retire after the World Cup if I win it," said the Aston Villa shot-stopper in comments reported by AS.
