Argentina: Gian Piero Gasperini close to blocking Messi’s invitation to Dybala

As part of his final match with Argentina, Lionel Messi extended a prestigious invitation to Paulo Dybala and Nahuel Molina.

The two Roma players have not been called up by Argentina for this September international break. However, they have been invited by the Inter Miami star to attend his final appearance with La Albiceleste. It is scheduled for October 6 at the Monumental Stadium against Benin. But this proposal has not left the two Argentina internationals indifferent.

Paulo Dybala and Molina would therefore like to accept Messi’s invitation. However, their participation remains complicated by Roma’s schedule. Indeed, Gian Piero Gasperini would prefer to spare his two players a transatlantic round trip before an important Serie A fixture. The Giallorossi must travel to face Como on October 11, the day after the international break.

The Italian coach is concerned about the fatigue caused by this long trip to Argentina.
