Originally scheduled to take place in Doha at the Lusail Stadium, the match had to be relocated due to ongoing tensions in the Middle East, which made organizing the event in Qatar too uncertain.

According to Spanish radio Cadena COPE, the match is now expected to be played on March 27 in Madrid, at the legendary Santiago Bernabéu stadium. An official announcement is still awaited, but the scenario now appears to be well advanced.
