Argentina vs Spain match could be replayed
The much-anticipated rematch of the 2026 World Cup final could be happening soon. According to ESPN Argentina, the Finalissima between Argentina, Copa América champions, and Spain, European champions, is being considered for November 2026.
Originally scheduled for March, the match was postponed. Talks are now progressing to stage this high-profile clash between the two national teams in Qatar, at Lusail Stadium—the venue that hosted the 2022 World Cup final.
The choice of Lusail Stadium is largely due to the Qatari government already holding the rights to organize the event. No official date has been announced yet, but a November fixture is currently under consideration.
This highly anticipated fixture would bring Argentina and Spain face-to-face again after their 2026 World Cup final showdown, once more pitting two of the world's football powerhouses against each other.
