Arsenal declares war on PSG

The battle for Julián Álvarez is expected to be fierce. Already listed among Paris Saint-Germain’s top attacking priorities, the Argentinian forward is also attracting strong interest from Arsenal, who are determined to make a major statement in the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to the Spanish press, the Gunners are considering making a move for Álvarez despite already having stiff competition in their offensive ranks. The London club is closely monitoring the situation of the 2022 World Cup winner and is ramping up contacts in preparation for a possible bid.

Still under contract with Atlético Madrid, Álvarez remains a complicated case. The Colchoneros have no intention of parting ways with their striker, but that hasn’t stopped several of Europe’s giants from getting into position. Like PSG, Arsenal are reportedly ready to make a massive investment to try and convince the Madrid club to negotiate during the offseason.
