AS Monaco made it official on Tuesday: Ansu Fati’s transfer is now permanent. Having arrived last summer on loan from FC Barcelona, the Spanish forward has signed on until 2030 after the club triggered his purchase option, reportedly valued at €11 million.

Ansu Fati will remain at AS Monaco. Both clubs have finalized the agreement for the Spanish striker to continue his adventure on the Rock. At 23, the La Masia-trained player has successfully reignited his career in Monaco. After several injury-plagued seasons, he found both rhythm and confidence under Adi Hütter and later Sébastien Pocognoli. In the 2025-2026 campaign, he netted 12 goals in 30 appearances across all competitions—despite starting only 13 times—finishing as the club’s second-highest scorer.

Impressed by his performances, Monaco’s management wasted no time in exercising the purchase option. In their official statement, ASM expressed their delight at seeing the Spanish international continue his journey in the Principality, highlighting his return to top form and his technical value to the squad.

On the other side, FC Barcelona completes a significant sale for their transfer window while retaining a 20% sell-on clause for any future profit from a potential resale. For Ansu Fati, this move marks the start of a new chapter defined by stability and continuity.
