Atlético Madrid: Julian Alvarez's plan for his return to training

In an effort to break the deadlock, Barcelona sporting director Deco met with the Argentine's agent this Wednesday in Madrid. According to Sport, FC Barcelona, still hoping for another push from Alvarez after his public statements during the 2026 World Cup, has learned that their target is set to change his approach. Resorting to a standoff would only escalate the conflict, which is why the former Manchester City player wants to remain professional.

Indeed, Julian Alvarez has followed the physical program provided by the staff and plans to report to training on August 10 as scheduled. There should be no rebellion or public outbursts. Julian Alvarez only intends to meet with his superiors to reiterate his desire to sign for Barça.
