Ballon d’Or 2026: did Cornejo put Messi at the top of his vote?
In a post on his (X) account, Patricio Cornejo said he was surprised by several publications claiming to know his vote and ranking for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
The Ecuadorian representative recalled that the votes of all the journalists taking part in the poll will be made public next October during the Ballon d’Or ceremony scheduled to take place in London.
To date, Patricio Cornejo has therefore not officially revealed his ranking, unlike certain posts shared on social media claiming that he had placed Lionel Messi in first position.
