Ballon d'Or: Kylian Mbappé rules Lamine Yamal out of the race

Kylian Mbappé has revealed his prediction for the upcoming Ballon d'Or. The Frenchman does not see Lamine Yamal lifting the trophy.

As captain of Les Bleus, Kylian Mbappé recently spoke to TF1. The Real Madrid striker has already picked his favorite to win the 2025 Ballon d'Or. According to Mbappé, Lamine Yamal is not in the running for the most coveted individual award in world football.

"Does Ousmane Dembélé deserve it? Of course! If it were up to me, I’d deliver it to his house myself. I hope Achraf Hakimi finishes high because defenders deserve more recognition. Lamine Yamal? Well, not him, he plays for Barcelona (laughs). But he’s a really good player!" said the former PSG star.
