Barcelona have not given up on Ibrahim Maza. The Catalan club’s interest in the Algerian striker was first reported months ago, and according to Mundo Deportivo, they are continuing to closely monitor his progress.

Known for their commitment to promoting young talent, Barça are said to be drawn to Maza’s potential. The 20‑year‑old has registered three goals and four assists this season in the Bundesliga while playing for Bayer Leverkusen.

However, the Catalans are not alone in their pursuit. Paris Saint‑Germain, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Juventus are all reported to be tracking the young Algerian as well.

Maza remains under contract with Leverkusen until 2030 and is valued at €45 million by Transfermarkt. Barcelona’s interest is clear, but they will face fierce competition if they hope to land one of Europe’s most promising young attackers. The summer window could see a battle for his signature, with the Blaugrana determined not to miss out — but aware that financial constraints may limit their ability to compete with wealthier rivals. The race for Maza is only just beginning.
