Bayern: Michael Olise set for a lucrative contract!

Bayern want to secure Michael Olise’s future with a new contract until 2032 and a salary worthy of their biggest stars.

Bayern Munich want to avoid any unpleasant surprises with Michael Olise. Under contract until June 2029, the France international has become one of the most important players in the Bavarian squad, and the club’s management now want to extend his deal on a long-term basis.

According to Sport Bild, Bayern are considering offering the 24-year-old a new contract until 2032. If an agreement is reached, Olise could join the club’s highest earners, on around €25 million per year, a level comparable to that of Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala. His current salary is estimated at around €14 million annually.

A release clause at the heart of the discussions

The matter is not expected to be straightforward, however. Olise’s representatives would like a release clause to be included in the future contract. Contrary to some rumours, his current deal reportedly contains no such clause, as sporting director Max Eberl had already stated.

Sport Bild estimates that, if Olise extends his contract until 2032, a clause set at more than €200 million would not be unrealistic. At this stage, this is therefore not a clause that has already been set or officially demanded at exactly €200 million, but rather an amount that could serve as a starting point in the negotiations.

Real Madrid and Liverpool remain on alert

Bayern want to accelerate the process as Olise’s stock continues to rise. Real Madrid and Liverpool are reportedly continuing to monitor his situation closely. Liverpool were recently reported to be tracking the France international, while Madrid have been interested in him for several months.

His profile explains this interest. A left-footer who primarily plays on the right wing, Olise combines attacking drive, passing ability, dribbling and efficiency in the final third. He is also capable of playing in a more central role, further increasing his value in a top-level squad.

A start to the season that strengthens his position

The Frenchman’s performances are also strengthening his position. Still according to Sport Bild, Olise has already recorded 8 goals and 4 assists in seven official matches this season, including four goals and two assists in the Bundesliga. Transfermarkt values him at €170 million, which would currently make him the most valuable player in the German top flight.

Bayern therefore want to secure one of their key assets before his contract enters a more sensitive phase. The first concrete discussions are expected to take place after the Harry Kane matter, with a clear objective: to convince Olise to commit to Munich for the long term while withstanding approaches from Europe’s biggest clubs
