The former center-back, a Champions League winner in 2013 with the Bavarian giants, is now launching his coaching career within his old home. A popular figure in the dressing room and among fans during his spell from 2012 to 2015, Dante made a strong impression with his leadership and pivotal role in Bayern’s historic treble-winning campaign.

A rich and international playing career

Before his return to Munich, the Brazilian enjoyed a solid career across Europe. Having played for Borussia Mönchengladbach and then VfL Wolfsburg, he truly made his mark at OGC Nice, where he spent nearly a decade and took on the role of leader and mentor for young players.

Capped 13 times for Brazil, Dante also played under renowned coaches such as Jupp Heynckes and Pep Guardiola—experience that now shapes his footballing philosophy.
