This summer transfer window has been dominated by one major storyline: the future of Michael Olise.

The French international winger was even subject to a full-on charm offensive from Real Madrid, who tried to convince him to leave Bayern Munich. In the end, however, Los Merengues appear to be turning their attention to Ivorian forward Yan Diomandé from RB Leipzig instead.

Michael Olise now looks set to remain in Bavaria. Bayern Munich honorary president Uli Hoeneß was completely unfazed by the saga. After a stunning 15-0 victory over FC Rottach on Thursday, he addressed Madrid’s interest in Michael Olise.

"I burst out laughing. He still has three years left on his contract, so for me, it's absolutely not an issue. The Emperor of China could come see us and we still wouldn't even talk to him (about Olise, editor's note). It's the same for Luis Díaz. We have the best attacking trio in the world with Olise, Díaz, and Kane. We wouldn't even consider selling a single one of them," he declared.
