Bazoumana Touré continues to attract interest from several Premier League heavyweights, just a few months after joining Newcastle United. According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United and Arsenal are still monitoring the 20-year-old Ivorian winger. Tottenham and Aston Villa are also reportedly keeping an eye on his progress, without having made any official approach to the Magpies.

A talent that continues to attract top clubs

After spells with ASEC Mimosas, Hammarby and Hoffenheim, Bazoumana Touré gradually established himself as one of European football’s promising young wingers. His performances in Germany, where he contributed to several goals and provided numerous assists, had already attracted the attention of several leading clubs.

Newcastle ultimately won the race for his signature in summer 2026, paying around £43 million, according to CaughtOffside. But his arrival at the Magpies has not extinguished the interest of his suitors. Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly continuing to closely monitor his progress. Tottenham and Aston Villa are also said to be among the interested clubs.

Newcastle remain in control of the situation

Despite this growing interest, none of the clubs mentioned have reportedly made an official approach to Newcastle. The northern English club is therefore in a strong position to retain its player. Touré is under contract with the Magpies until summer 2031 and represents a significant investment in their long-term project.

His potential, speed and ability to beat his opponent one-on-one explain the attention he is receiving. His first few months in England are also allowing him to experience the demands of the Premier League. He has already scored a league goal against Leeds United and found the net in the League Cup against West Bromwich Albion.

Our analysis

The interest from several English clubs confirms the value placed on Bazoumana Touré’s potential. Manchester United and Arsenal are particularly looking for attacking profiles capable of providing pace and width, while Tottenham and Aston Villa are also monitoring his development. However, interest does not mean that a transfer is imminent.

Newcastle have just signed the winger for a significant fee and committed to him for the long term. In the absence of concrete offers, a departure as early as the next transfer window appears far from certain. For Touré, the priority will be to gain consistency and playing time at Newcastle. Convincing progress could enhance his reputation, but also make him even more difficult for his suitors to recruit.
