Belarus vs Burkina Faso: starting lineup for the Stallions
After a 0-3 defeat to Russia, Burkina Faso faces another Eastern European opponent this Tuesday as they take on Belarus. Head coach Amir Abdou has announced the Stallions’ starting lineup just hours before the clash.
The lineup has seen some changes. Tonight at the Minsk stadium, the Stallions will deploy a 4-4-2 formation, departing from the 4-3-3 setup that saw them lose 0-3 to Russia.
Hillel Konate replaces Kilian Nikiema between the posts. Mohamed Ouédraogo, who was sent off with a red card against Russia, will not start. Instead, IF Gnistan’s Rachid Gnagnou steps in to partner Edmond Tapsoba at the heart of defense. In midfield, Ismaïla Ouédraogo and Cyriaque Irié are preferred over Arthur Zagre and Gustavo Sangaré. Ousseni Bouda also features in the midfield, while Landry Kaboré and Dango Ouattara will lead the attack. Mohamed Konaté and Georgino Minalgo start on the bench.
