Friendly match: Burkina Faso snatch a draw against Belarus
The clash at Minsk Stadium ended in a 2-2 draw between Burkina Faso and Belarus. Despite falling two goals behind in the second half, Hubert Velud's Stallions refused to surrender and mounted a powerful comeback.
The match had two distinct halves. The first was a tight affair that finished goalless at 0-0. The second half, however, exploded into life. The Belarusians struck first, netting two quick goals. Burkina Faso looked to be on the brink, but Amir Abdou's substitutions changed the game. The Stallions roared back thanks to Elohim Moussa Kabore in the 73rd minute, followed by Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba, who leveled the score in the 85th minute. The final whistle sounded with the scoreboard reading 2-2.
After a tough 0-3 defeat to Russia just days earlier, the Stallions showed a different side, revealing their true identity, mental strength, and trademark resilience to fight back even in the most challenging circumstances.
