Bouna Sarr has committed his future to FC Metz after agreeing a two‑year extension with the French club.
The Senegalese right‑back signed the new deal on Monday, 29 June, just days before his previous contract was due to expire on 30 June. He will now remain at the club until June 2028.
Sarr originally returned to Metz during the winter window on a short‑term deal, but his performances convinced the club’s hierarchy to extend his stay. The 34‑year‑old has impressed enough to earn a longer commitment, and he will now continue his time with the Ligue 2 side. Metz will be hoping his experience and versatility prove valuable as they look to push for promotion in the coming seasons.
