The Brazilian Football Confederation is on the verge of renewing its trust in Carlo Ancelotti. According to multiple reliable sources, a deal is about to be made official to extend the Italian manager’s contract through to the 2030 World Cup.

The agreement, already finalized in its key points, now only awaits Ancelotti’s formal signature. That is expected to happen in the next few days, most likely electronically, as the coach is currently staying in Canada. Talks between all parties have resulted in total consensus, confirming a shared commitment to continue the sporting project underway.

A record-breaking salary

Financially, the former Real Madrid boss will retain an annual salary estimated at €10 million—a record sum for a Brazil national team coach. His technical staff will also benefit from a pay raise.

The new deal is structured in two phases: two guaranteed years, followed by an automatic two-year extension. This is a bold statement from the CBF, showing absolute faith in 'Carletto' to rebuild an ambitious Seleção with eyes on 2030.
