Breaking News: Kayers Chiefs suffer another injury!
The injury crisis at Kaizer Chiefs is deepening by the day. Brandon Petersen, their first-choice goalkeeper, is facing up to six weeks on the sidelines after picking up a knee problem in training. Meanwhile, versatile attacker Wandile Duba will be absent for a few weeks, laid low by a hip and groin complaint.

The casualty list doesn't end there. New signing Lebohang Maboe was forced off during the second half of the club's 0-0 stalemate with Golden Arrows — and while the full extent of the damage remains unclear, it's already proving a bitter pill for both club and player. The 32-year-old playmaker had pulled out of the Bafana squad set to face Guinea and Eritrea, and his importance is plain to see: two goals and two assists from seven Betway Premiership outings this term.
Further back, talented attacker Langelihle Phili is looking at a long-term absence with an ankle issue. And the defensive and attacking ranks are thinner still — left-backs Paseka Mako and Khanyiso Shinga, along with striker Khanyisa Mayo, remain sidelined as well.
